Synopsis:
Matthew 7:21-24 is a scripture most Christians are familiar with. You may hear people use it as a weapon aimed at people referred to as hypocrites. Jesus says (in the book of Revelation ) that He would prefer His church to be either hot or cold. A lukewarm believer makes Him sick to His stomach . In light of that scripture, it would be better for a person to either be hot (on fire for Jesus) or cold (sleeping through the sermon on those Sundays they choose to show up for church) than to be lukewarm. But the question still remains, who exactly are those individuals that talk about heaven and yet have no hope of going there? Or, are those the people we call hypocrites? Are those the people we call Christians?
